I agree the 386DX-40 was a beast, but my accolades have an expiration date of circa 1990. The pentium in my mind was the real page turner.
But I wouldn't put any of those on the same list with a sophisticated peice of circuitry that is an Ivy Bridge or Piledriver. We are talking about spaceships to the moon and you are thinking fondly of horse-drawn carriages. Totally different world IMO
