Can be anything: Computers, hardware, politics, etc whatever.

Edit:
List some common conspiracies here ..... no, more like "Widely Held Misconceptions"

1) "More ghz is better"
2) "Intel is better than AMD" (relates to #1)
3) "Bose makes the best speakers!"
4) "Sony makes the best products!"

#4 is a little debatable. Sometimes they come out with quality products, but most of the time their quality control is a little lacking.

Actually, Subaru (at least the cars) have pretty piss-poor offroad capability due to their low stance. They have the power and capabilities to do it, but not the clearance. Anywhere you can actually GET your STi, any SUV on the market will also go.

Creative cards can output Dolby 5.1 encoded game audio over a digital connection.

General Hardware has at least a couple threads a month of people thinking Creative "5.1" / "7.1" cards will send more than 2-channel stereo over a digital connection while right now only a few of non-Creative cards with "Dolby Live" do that.

How are any of those conspiracies? They are just widely held beliefs that are not necessarily backed by fact or evidence.

Conspiracy;
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. A group of conspirators.
3. Law. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design: a conspiracy of wind and tide that devastated coastal areas.

Hmm.... I guess your sarcasm-meter is broken. I really didn't mean "Conspiracy" in its literal sense. More like "widely held misconceptions"

I was going to post that a while ago but I thought I'd just watch the fun.

its not really right to call it a conspiracy, but rather myths. a conspiracy requires an agreement between two parties to commit an evil act. in this case, we are talking about stupid people believing in fallicies

No my sarcasm meter is functioning. Something must be broken on your end.

IIRC, he's 16.
