List of banned "assault rifles" in Connecticut?

Hi Gang,

Does anyone have an updated list of the semi-automatic rifles that were just outlawed in Connecticut? There are apparently 100 new guns on the list that can no longer be bought or sold in the Communist regime formerly known as Connecticut, but I haven't been able to find a list of these guns. Google has failed me 🙁

I'd imagine that my Beretta CX4 is on the list now, even though it only has an 8 round magazine and has no so called "military" features. It's black and scary looking, though, and that seems to be enough for Connecticut politicians to want to outlaw it 🙂

Damn... I really need to move out of this place. I miss living in a Free state.

Don't forget to register you high capacity magazines... Because.. you know... They have date stamps and serial numbers and such already on them.

These fucks continue to enact gun laws that have no basis in reality and prove time and time again that they know nothing about what they are passing legislation for.

Humans are really disappointing me.
 
I think this whole assault weapons ban is stupid. Assult weapons are large and you can see them. What would work better would be to ban small handguns that fit in your pocket. Statistically more people are killed with handguns.

They are going after "Assault Weapons" because they know they can't come after handguns. If you think gun owners are in an uproar over this, wait until they come after our primary means of defending ourselves - the handgun.

Yep... The next time someone shoots up a public place with a handgun, they'll try to exploit that tragedy to outlaw sales of those as well.

I would be surprised if they didn't try to enact some sort of firearms property tax as well. Connecticut never met a new tax opportunity that they didn't like.

Statisticaly more people are killed by drunk drivers.
More people are killed by hammers/blunt objects
more people are killed in Chicago annually than in the whole country by rifles . . .
CCW citizens are statistically MUCH less likely to commit a violent gun crime, but hey..

they dont' deal in logic and facts. It's emotion based. . .

At lot of these new laws don't make any logical sense and in any case will be smacked down by courts. They're grasping at straws without evidence or reason as a foundation and the courts will not allow it, particularly in light of Heller.

Yeah... that's because we saw what happened over in Europe and Australia when they started requiring registration of firearms there. Once they knew who had the "illegal" guns, they confiscated them.

But, seriously back to my question. Has anyone seen the new list of outlawed weapons?

No, it looks like a crazy person problem.

Of course it's males, for the same reasons it was males who landed on the moon, males who fly around in those wing suits... or sky dive from low Earth orbit... males who have TV shows where they wrestle crocodiles... etc.

The male instincts responsible for crazy behaviors often have very positive manifestations, and sometimes have very negative ones. Women may do far fewer mass shootings, but without males you wouldn't have buildings, cars, phones, computers, airplanes, space travel, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Males built and maintain this civilization. Primarily white males, actually.

My understanding is that blacks, despite being 13% of the population in the US, actually comprise 20% of mass shooters and other types of serial killings. So, that would be a disproportionately high contribution.

Interestingly, none of these three gentlemen appear obviously nuts in the way the other three did... but I'm sure they were.

The in house bigots of the P&N maintain the meme of white supremacism and misogyny going strong in this forum.

The typical course is for too few to condemn this prejudicial bs while the rabid vocal rabble cries fowl of such complaints, hypocritically demanding "accepting" "tolerance" for all expressed opinions, except of course when they ream against civilised reason.... The P&N is the garbage dump you folks make it to be.

Could you please remind me of the name of the person in the middle photo of that collage? The first person is the recent guy who battled with the police of California, and the last two are the snipers Malvo and Muhammad, correct? I just don't remember the boy from the middle picture.

Sure.

Terence Tyler gunned down a couple of white coworkers at a Pathmark store in New Jersey. Happened last year.

The thing I found the most fascinating about it, was that I paid very close attention to how Huffington Post, for instance, covered it as compared to other shootings last year. If the shooter was white, his face was displayed prominently on the front page, for a good while.

In the case of Mr. Tyler? At least in the articles when I was watching, though his picture was available on other news sites... Huffington Post was not showing it.

And there's a reason you didn't hear about this shooting. I understand he only had 2 victims... but there was a serious drumbeat to make hay about any and all shootings for the gun control push at that time, but nonetheless this incident got far less coverage. I believe the shooter's race is part of the reason why. Refer back to the direct admissions from major national news outlets that they actively try to downplay black crime.
