Kinda surreal that Kris Kristofferson is still alive and so is Priscilla while Lisa Marie is departed. I remember like it was yesterday she was featured on 20/20 or Nightline(forgot exactly which).

Its interesting to hear others talk about celeb deaths. When lisa died, I had people tell me it was because she didn't exercise, or she got hooked on meds when her son passed away. The same thing happened when Luke Perry from 90210 passed away a few years ago. His diet was horrible. It was because he consumed drugs in his youth. The reality is when these people pass away at a relatively young age, it brings home the ugly truth that we are not mortal. That there really is a time limit on this one life. And, there is no guarantee that you are going to live until 90. The reality is you probably won't reach 90. Anyway, its just an observation.

I swear in many of the recent pics I've been seeing Lisa looks/looked NEARLY as old as her mom.



Further in a pic I saw last night somewhere she really looked like "death warmed over" so to speak with pale, pasty cottage-cheese skin and sunken, baggy unfocused eyes .... what a shame.

In retrospect based on that pic in my decidedly NON-expert opinion it's no surprise she passed. (I clearly recall thinking the EXACT same thing after seeing pics of "FAT-Elvis" himself right before he dropped dead during his ill-advised "last tour" in 1977)

Being rich & famous (or worse the offspring thereof!) is apparently NO BARGAIN when it comes to a long, healthy life .... be careful what you wish for!

Her son committing suicide and joining the 27 club could very well have been the beginning of the end. Possibly broken heart.
