Liquid Leather - Can it repair cracked car interior?

Scene this stuff on tv and it looks somewhat promising....
I got a car thats had a lot of sun damage and thus cracked areas on the dash...they say it repairs vinyl...isn't this what dash is made of?
Also they have a fabric repair thing that supposedly does holes in fabric as well...got some of those in car as well...will it possibly repair these as well?
In other words has anyone tried this stuff and gotten it to actually work? or is there better stuff out there to offer a decent fix without replacing the whole thing?

If you want to repair leather, go to http://www.leatherique.com and read about them. It is expensive and time consuming, but it can be done. They are a reputable business, unlike those infomercials. Another option for leather repair would be a local shop that does leather upholstery. They can repair most anything in your car. As for the vinyl, I have no idea.
