well guys, how about we weigh in on the latest debacle...
seriously, was anything *right* in that game? is anything right with this team? this organization?!
yesterday i realized that without my warped sense of humour, i would not be able to be a Lions fan. yesterday was just about the hardest i've laughed while watching football. Detroit really is a comedy of errors 😀
a couple choice moments from yesterday... 1) the interception. ok, Lions run the ball 1st down nearly every time. the one time Joey steps back and throws on 1st down, it's a low ball that is batted at the line and hits another player before ending up in the hands of a Viking. brilliant! stick to running the ball 2 yards on first down. 2) the 2-minute "drive" :laugh: is it just me or is it dumb to run forward and fall down with the ball when you have no timeouts? twice! man. unbelievable.
even funnier is the people that stick by Joey through it all! PEOPLE - HE IS NOT GOOD! i tried LONG (4 seasons!) and hard to like Joey, but he doesn't hold up his end of the deal. the things that he is responsible for do not get done - rarely anyway. he looked great shredding those crappy defences in college though :roll: nice pick Millen.
1-3 against the weakest division in football. see ya Lions, so much for your "playoff" year. what's funny is that the tough part of their schedule is yet to come. awesome.
