what is the definition of "possession"

23. Possession: When a player controls the ball throughout the act of clearly touching both feet, or any other part of his body other than his hand(s), to the ground inbounds.

Note: He caught the ball with both knees in bounds. The ball never "moved around" once he had his hands on it except the act of him tucking it away. He had control of the ball the whole time.

That is what is causing all the stir. It's all verbal masturbation at this point. We could have a unanimous decision saying it was a bad call, it still isnt going to get the win back.

oh yeah, and Jones' TD run was sweet. POP!

That was my favorite play

My thought exactly.

And Pollard caught that pass clean. I don't know what replay you guys saw that says the ball was moving as he slid out of bounds. The ball stuck to his hands and there was no bobbling or adjusting after the ball made contact.

What really screwed the Lions is the inexcusable time out after the 2:00 warning. Absolutely ridiculous. That should never have happened. They should've had another timeout on that last set of downs to allow for a run play or a short pass.
