What do you guys think?!?

Joey Harrington is really maturing. He's looking like a great QB. Roy Williams is just plain SICK! Charles Rogers will be an awesome #2 receiver if he can stop getting injured. The D is improving quite a bit. They've finally got a good coach, and the running game looks promising.

I say give them 2-3 years and they could be a legit Superbowl contender.

I have to admit they are doing great. they have gone from laughing stock of the NFL to a respectable team.

I agree that they could be great next year or so.

yeah next year I'm betting thier going to make a serious run for the superbowl, considering its going to be in detroit I see the value in trying to do it next year instead of 2-3 years from now

but this all hinges on the following things:

Charles Rogers not breaking his collarbone AGAIN!!!
stop this whole RB by commitee and just give Kevin Jones the start
and most of all stay healthy!!!! that is the lions worst problem.

Now I think also in the off season the smart thing would be to trade away the next 2 years of round 1 picks for a couple proven solid veterans. we have enough young talent we need some veterans that have proven themself. proubly a good LB and possbily a good CB if one is available.

We'll see. Roy Williams reminds me A LOT of Randy Moss during his rookie year, and Kevin Jones has serious potential. I'm still not convinced Joey Harrington is going to be good enough to lead a team deep into the playoffs though. I've seen quite a bit of him (not much today), and he just doesn't look that good to me. Good players on defense, they just have to play a bit more consistent now. Still a big hog or two away on both lines from getting to that next level.
