Three apex predators aren’t supposed to live together.

but all 3 were found as cubs and raised together for the last 13yrs.

The bear is the leader of this pack, which surprises the habitat's director.
"Typically, the tiger should be the leader"

hm.. I would have thought the lion would be the leader?

edit:
All three animals are male and are the same age.

I was going to guess Tsavo lion, but apparently not.

One of the picture captions:
"He doesn't have a mane because he was neutered."

Which may also explain why it tolerates what it does. Curious if all three have been neutered.

not surprising the bear is the lead animal

although i would usually think that a black bear would not stand up to the big cats

on a fight basis the black bear probably has a good chance to survive depending on the particular cat but otherwise they usually run

they do not have the size or intimidation of brown bears

that said i think bears are supposed to be the smartest carnivores

and they are oafs like scandanavians so all is good

they actually have a stronger sense of smell than other carnivores including cats and dogs

The Tiger looks small compared to the lion. I thought they were supposed to be bigger. Once it reaches full size it will pwn the other 2

The Tiger just being lazy

Typical cat, I'll let the other guy take care of me.

Does look like some Photoshop, that tiger looks a bit small.

Got me.

Paging Silver Prime...

You Rang? They were nutered so they don't fight, lions lose their manes and agression in the process.

Lol that guy really does spam forums across the web with bear vs lion stuff. What a weirdo

C'mon bro, I've only been on 5 forums specifically on the L vs B topic, that hardly counts as the web which has atleast 1,000 other forums I've seen debating the subject. If its so weird, why does the l vs b or l vs t have some 12 million views on youtube? Seems like I'm not the only one that was interested in seeing who would win and who is the superior in combat.

At the moment I dont really care anymore I am on break so wont be researching or as you call spaming...but anyways, for people who wanna learn some cool facts, you can check out some new stuff I added in of conflicts of Lions fighting bears here:

http://teamauthority.myfastforum.org/African_Lion_vs_Grizzly_Bear_about729.html

Quite hilarious that 95% of the forums have people assuming a brown bear can just kill a lion with one swat, lol. Funny that science doesnt support this, and nor does the historical accounts, in fact the lion has actually done the vice versa of what people assumed...which was lions have been documented killing brown bears with a single blow. People use pusedo logic to act as just because the bear is heavier that would promote a harder strike, thats like saying without a dought the millions of 400+ pound fat people can hit harder than mike tyson. lol

Sorry, but I've researched the strikes of lions, bears and tigers and lions are without a dought the strongest paw striking carnivore on the planet.
