Lion: Internet Sharing

Has anyone gotten this to work? Trying to share my wifi connection through ethernet and for the life of me cannot get it to work. This worked fine on SL.

Under Internet Sharing I set "share connection from" to wifi. "to computers using" ethernet

but the wifi icon never changes to indicate that sharing is running. When I check the console log there are no errors "Internet Sharing Started" is the only indication that anything is going on.

Reading your post it seems to me like you have the settings mixed up. Don't you want to share your ethernet connection to the computers using your wifi? After reading it a few times it seems pretty ambiguous and could be read either way.

It sounds like that he wants to take in a wireless signal, and output it through the ethernet port. If that is the case I think he has the stuff set correctly, so i am not sure why it isn't working.

Sorry ... I did type that backwards. I want to share the Ethernet through wifi to create a wireless hotspot, but no joy with Lion. Works perfectly fine in SL.
