"How does getting mauled by a lion make you feel? Tell us about the pain you experienced. If I were to tazer you right now, would it be more painful than usual?"
Then a week later on a special segment:
"To illustrate to our viewers what this is like, I will first get mauled by a lion, and then our police department will use a Tazer on me."
Well duh. Our culture loves violence. Just don't show any nudity. THAT is dangerous!
Or perhaps the mods just haven't visited their wrath upon this thread yet.

this happened in iran. i understand every word they're saying.
edit: wow... still watching. that got my heart racing 🙁 understanding what's being said and watching the video makes it way more graphic and vivid...
to those who commented on not doing cpr on the guy because he's still "ticking," he wasn't breathing. in the video, someone commented that he wasn't breathing. so, he yelled out, "for the love of God, give him air! give him air!"... when people were backing away, he yelled out, "with your mouth!"
the guy doing cpr was the trainer/victim's brother and wasn't a paramedic. he was panicked and did the best he could and stopped once he saw that he started breathing again.
at the beginning of the video, the people were screaming to kill the lion. in the background, you could hear a voice saying the equivalent of, "like hell you will!" then, whenever the lion got a better hold on the guy, they were yelling to hit him with a stick on the head. when that wasn't working and the lion pulled the guy back, the cop showed up just in time and they yelled at the cop to shoot the lion in the head. when the first shot didn't do anything, they yelled for him to shoot him again.
once the lion keeled over and started roaring as it lay dying, the people were yelling to get the guy out of the damn cage.
after the pros showed up to take care of his wounds and everything, they were telling each other to apply pressure on the wounds with both hands. then, they were testing his neurologic reflexes by telling him to squeeze their hand as hard as he could.
the reporter asked the guy in the red jacket, "why did this happen?"... to translate, the guy in the red (the victim/trainer's brother) told the victim not to train him because the lion is dangerous that day. he said the lion attacked his brother about 20 times, breaking his bones, before he could get to him. he grabbed his brother's neck and held it against the bars. he told the reporter how he ended up bending the bars from trying to save his brother. he said that he was holding him and the lion for nearly 45 minutes until help arrived.
the guy you heard screaming in a shrill panic when the lion started pulling away with the trainer was the trainer's brother 🙁

just got done reading some of the bullshit hate against iranian people in atpn and various blogs and then saw this video on here... the poster saying he could ONLY guess the language to be turkish kinda pissed me off based on what that implies... as if there aren't any circuses or anything in a country like iran or something.
i searched for an article on this and it turns out that the animal was raised in captivity because his mother was killed in the wild. he was rescued and brought to the circus. that's why the guy in the background was saying, "like hell you will!" whenever someone said to kill the lion.
Should have been at least fast two acting tranquilizer guns on hand. The trainer in the cage should have one on his person, as should at least one person outside. This tragedy could have been avoided, or at least the injuries minimized without the lion having to be put down.

people have been complaining about overpopulation for centuries...there is no problem. and i know it was just a brown person, but a human life trumps any animal life. so yes Alone, i think your thought process is absurd and stupid.
