Wow man that is a very disturbing video. I feel bad for both the guy and the lion. Anyone know what he was doing in the cage with the lion to begin with?

Apparently he was attempting to feed the lion a small dog when the trick ran horribly amock.

Seemed to me that if the guy had not let go of the lion that it would have been possible for some brave men to enter the cage and drag him out. Or some men with chairs had simply gone in and backed the lion off. For lion trainers I think they were pretty stupid.

If you read some of the comments you know that the man holding the lions head is a lion trainer and the man in the cage is his brother and also a lion trainer. Who knows wtf the dog was doing in there.

Tragic for both the lion and the man but could have saved the lion too IMO.

What kind of place that interacts directly with dangerous animals doesn't have fast acting tranquilizers?

Yep that too could have resolved it.

Yeah, I feel sorry for the lion a lot too because it isnt like there is some huge population of lions these days. It just isnt a good thing seeing endangered wildlife die off.

I really wish humanity could control its population growth.

Give the world a break and keep the human population around 5 billion and let that population live better rather than over populate and have wars and starvation control the population.

Yeah, I know that is an ideal that is impossible.

If I were handling lions, I would make sure somebody was around with a gun in case anything went wrong.
