Linux users, what DE are you using?

I've always been a KDE person but lately I have been using XFCE. It's kind of "Windows 95'ish" but it's fast and simple, I like it. :thumbsup:

Cinnamon 2.0 is pretty nice but it doesn't play well with VMWare Workstation 7.1 which is what I use to run my Linux VMs on Windows 7 so I don't use much. I do have a dedicated Linux PC though with Mint 17 and Cinnamon 2.0 and it's pretty slick.
 
Xfce. I've used that since Gnome went weird. I've been meaning to give KDE a good workout, and am somewhat interested in the LxQt project, but Xfce does what I want.
 
I recently tried KDE Plasma 5 - awesome desktop IMO, highly configurable, intuitive design. but my go to is Enlightenment 17 with Bodhi.

I've been using E17 for about 6 months now. I'm keeping an eye on LXQT also for my netbook.

I'm running Debian Sid, and with the progress the debian e packaging team is making I'm thinking of setting aside some time to help them with packaging.
 
I just loaded E17. I've had it installed for a few years, but seldom use it, It's a really cool desktop, but configuring it is a PITA, and I always find myself running into things I miss which it doesn't do.

Same, I loaded 14.04 on my desktop about a month ago. It works pretty well except when I want to resize a window it gets choppy and slow. I will probably go xfce if Unity starts giving me any kind of additional grief.

I haven't found it to be choppy. Maybe graphics drivers? I'm on a HD4000 GPU.
 
Well, I'm not a frequent Linux user right now, but two years ago I was using daily Gnome with Debian 6 (same desktop the current CentOS is using if I'm correct). Debian's 7 Gnome desktop I did not like. KDE looks a bit heavy to me but might have been a likely candidate. Or I could have been using Xfce (simple and does the job) unless I switched to Mint with Cinnamon.
Currently I use (rarely) Mint with Cinnamon on a VM, and on my old computer that I haven't turned on for a few months, I have Debian 7 Xfce and Zorin (8?) which I am not sure what desktop it uses.
 
Main desktop is Gnome 3. I always dabble in other desktop environments or window managers but I always come back to Gnome.
