Linux....Samba?

I want to hook up my linux box to my W2k box, but am a linux fool.. Someone point me in the right dir. I've looked at www.linuxnewbie.org and others, but cannot find the right dummie instrucions for me.

just type cd /etc/samba, once in that dir type pico smb.conf

change what you need to change (i.e. - workgroup) and ctrl+w to write out (save) ctrl+x to quit

Well since I run NetBSD, I can't get too huffed. Besides, I have a little Red Devil bear pen (from Valentine's Day), stuffed in between the server's case door and the case.... :D

(/me should take a pic of that...LOL)
