Linux Printer

Hello all.
Just a quick question if I may?
Ive managed to install Linux Red Hat 6.2 on an old 486?.DX2 66, but ofcourse im not running X.
The unit is running as a simple server for two windows machiens, so I can have a bit of a play.
The problem I have is that without X..ie..printtool, I have no idea how to install the old Canon BJ200 printer, which I have had installed in Linux before when running a GUI.
Is there a program for this?? To be run from the prompt?
Any advice is welcome, and thanks in advance

You'll have to edit the /etc/printcap manually then. Or, if you installed linuxconf, you should be able to configure it from there.

Hmm, you might try webmin for a GUI config method. You'll have to download and install it though. I have used it before and it's really fairly nice. Only drawback is that it can be a little pokey sometimes, but it's really not bad.

You can find information on it here: Webmin
