Linux PCMCIA networking?

Hello all,

Got a laptop here that I'm trying to put on the network... It's running RedHat 6.1, with a 3Com 3CCFE575CT network adapter. Any tips and tricks to get this thing running? PCMCIA services are loaded and I've configured the IP/DNS/Netmask correctly, but it's still not showing up.

type "ifconfig" at the command line and paste back what you get
you might try "ifup eth0" if eth0 isn't listed from the ifconfig command

That ain't gonna cut it. That PCMCIA is card bus. There's support for PCMCIA card bus devices in the 2.4 kernel series, or going here Network Driver Updates for Linux kernels 1.2.0 through 2.2 and following the instructions for updating the kernel pcmcia stuff for card bus support.
