Linux on IMac??? Does such a beast Exist?

I have an IMac that i'm playing around with. I'm not about to buy OSX, but i would be interested in trying to install a Linux Distro on it. does anyone know if such a beast exists?

Edit:Site seems to be down..That is the only iso site i know. Others here will be able to direct you to other good sites as well. Yellow dog linux is for the PPC architecture(sp?)

Just out of curiosity..Why not get OSX? Think about it, you get an easy to use interface with the power of *nix behind it. I personally love OSX allthough it is a tad on the slow side on my G3233 DT. You can find pre-OS 10.2 versions very reasonably on eBay. I got my 10.1.4 for under $50 shipped.
