This is kind of a weird question
. I have seen DemoLinux which is a distribution of Linux on a CD-R that I believe runs in a RAM disk. The problem is that when you power down, you lose anything you have done unless you save it to a floppy or mount a hard drive partition. Is there a distribution that can boot off of a CD-RW and write to it as if it were a hard disk? I know that it would be really slow, but it would allow you to turn any computer with a CD-RW into a linux computer quickly. Well, what do you think? Thanks.
