linux networking with w2k ICS

I have a Win2k box running ICS with an internal Caldera OpenLinux box trying to lease an IP from the Win2k Box...

But when I restart networking, it says it cannot access DHCP server or something. I've checked the eth0-config file and played with the settings and also tried assigning a static IP all of which don't work...

Has anybody had similar problems with Win2k ICS and come up with a solution?

Thanks!

I just set my machines to static, I don't know why but my Win2K Pro's ICS wouldn't give an IP to it (or it wouldn't take).

After trying to get linux to communicate with the DHCP server, it didn't work so i went ahead and assigned a static IP along with the DNS servers. So now, I'm in linux... 🙂

Time to play!
