I dont know if Ill get a better responce to this in the opperating system forum, however, Im looking for a Motherboard that works well with linux (kernel 2.4.21), has a 8x AGP Port (if none will work with a 8x I can settle with a 4x), Has DDR ram slots, Has mounting holes for my water block, and is a Socket A Mothboard, and 333FSB capabilities, Im hoping get the above mother board for ~$100. but I wont be to disapointed if I have to settle for a 125-150 Motherboard. if possible keep it at $100 though, Thanx for the advice.
 
And linux will work on virtually any motherboard. In fact, I've moved a linux installation from one motherboard to another 4 or 5 times, and it would load the new hardware each time just fine.
