linux mail clients

At the moment I am using StarOffice to check my email, however I am running Redhat 6.2 on a laptop (a nice one, but still a laptop) and star office takes a little while to load. And, as mail clients go, I don't really like it.

I have 3 pop email accounts I need to check (three different ISP's), as well as 3 smtp accounts I can use (one for each pop account). So I need a mail client that can handle multiple accounts per user. Netscape cannot do that. Star Office can, but I don't really like it.

What is a good mail client for linux? Somebody recommended Pronto to me, but I am having trouble installing it.

...thanks

give CSCMail a shot. it was developed by someone i know...don't know how great it is, but it's should be at least decent and it does support multiple accts.

Kmail2(the one with kde2) handles multiple pops and so does Mozilla and Evolution. Evolution isn't stable enough right now to recommend. Mozilla works pretty well for me (try the 0.7 release) but I don't use the mail client much. I'm not sure if these will allow for a diff smtp server per account. That's a odd requirement. I'm currently using Agent in wine to handle email until evolution or mozilla get fully stable

Netscape6 and Mozilla will allow different servers per account. I am using it that way now (in secure IMAP mode). Not the fastest though. Any other suggestions?
