Linux Install and Video questions

Hi all,
I have decided to try Mandrake 10 Community Edition. I've been using RH9 for a while and its rock solid, but just figured I would do an upgrade of everything instead of each thing at a time. I've read that it has bugs, one of the more obvious ones being that you boot up from CD 2 then switch to CD 1.
My questions are:
1. Do I need all 3 cd's of the community edition to install it, will it install if I don't have CD3?
2. I would like to utilize the dual display in my A92 Radeon 9200. What should I use to do so? Where should I look for help on how to do this? (I know about xinerama and am looking for a howto on google, but wondering if there are any other methods to do this? Just considering my options)
3. I don't have MDK 9.2. My only options are MDK 10 or RH9. Which one would ppl recommend, and why? I would like to stay with either MDK or RH, if you think another version/distro is better than those, please let me know. My use is avg desktop (email, web, movies, etc) along with some development, basically want an easy install without too much fussing about the install/config.

Thanks 🙂

1) You should be able to install without CD3, IIRC it only contains packages, which wont be available to install during the install but will be afterwards.
2) xinerama is the recommended way of doing dual monitors, i've used it once before when i had 2 monitors..but not anymore. Just look around on google some more, there are lots of xinerama howtos.
3) IMO RH is better then MDK. But it all comes down to whether or not you like it, I would try Mandrake, if you like it better then Redhat then use it.

Thanks MCrusty.
I used to use mandrake till 9.x when I started having problems with their install, plus when it did install the fonts looked horrible and I couldn't get any new fonts installed. That is why I switched to RH9. I started dl'ing mdk10 cause I had heard of all the bugs in 9.2. But it seems 10 has its own problems, Well, going to try it and see.
