Anyone know of any good Linux Websites with Forums and setup info on it. I am currently looking off MAndrake and Red Hat Linuxes websites...but they are lacking.

Thanks

For forums, try USENET; there are plenty of Linux newsgroups with lots of helpful people on them (or for that matter, try this forum; there are lots of helpful people who know a lot about Linux here).
Linux.org and Linux.com can be two helpful resources for Linux information. The Linux Documentation Project can also be a very helpful source of information for specific tasks in setting up a working, useful, Linux box.

Edit: fixed small grammar error.

Be careful with the newsgroups. If you ask a stupid question that has been asked and answered SEVERAL times you will get flamed worse than even I will do on here ;)

One good thing about the newsgroups though is that they reach a very broad audience (bigger than here), and using Dejanews (or Google Groups now :() you can search through years worth of messages for an answer.

Another thing is to go to a distro's homepage (Slackware for example) and see if they have forums. Those are completely Linux dedicated so you generally get more info that way (though it's naturally slanted towards the distro whose site is hosting the forums).

Also, www.rootprompt.org has some good links to howto-type articles from time to time.

Finally, don't be afraid to post here. As said before there's a lot of Linux users on Anandtech that are usually more than happy to help you get your Linux system in tip-top shape.
