Linux flavor to use?

What version of Linux should I install? I have had a little experience before with an really old Linux version (like from 1995 or 1996). I'm leaning towards Mandrake or Redhat. I will be downloading the ISO and am on 2mbit cable so size isn't too much of an issue. Mostly looking for the one with the easiest install process. Will be installed on my secondary slave hard drive. Thanks.

go with mandrake 7.1.......
i hear slackware is good, but it's harder to use, get into it when you get more comfortable.
also, debian is EXCELLENT, imho, but harder to use.
