Linux drivers for NIC

starting to think about switching to linux (ubuntu)
Where can i get drivers for my integrated NIC, mobo mfr's website doesnt have them

forcedeth driver should work (nvidia gbit nic), I'm sure ubuntu has it out of the box.

Yes, forcedeth is supported directly by the kernel in the default install of ubuntu.

You could also download the NF4 NIC drivers off nVidia.

Not worth the effort. Those drivers are closed source and kernel changes will just break them in time. The forcedeth ones work great and should be automagically detected by any new-ish kernel.

Shadowblade, try a live CD and I bet your NIC works fine.
