Gave me Debian for most of the searches I ran, with a few others. All of them failed the "one-click installation" option.

I find this interesting since I was thinking about trying Debian already.

Doesn't it have it though? Make sure I have the right repositories...and then apt-get program I want and wa la!

Or did it literally mean "one click on a gui and the application will install"? I thin that would be nice as well, although not even windows have programs that will install in just one click ;)

Ubuntu has apt-get?? Woaa.
It chose debian for me, and that's what I use!

Failed these criterias:
# Does not have one-click installable applications

Picked Kubuntu for me, with Debian and Ubuntu as secondaries.
Not bad.

Oh and KDE is nice, though quality seems to have gone down with 3.4.0
Of course, using .0 releases is always taking a risk ;)

Took it once, said that I knew nothing about linux. It's suggestions: Debian, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mandrive, MEPIS, Fedora, Gentoo, or Slackware. Terribly helpful.

The second time around, I told it that I apt-get package management. Debian, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mandrive, MEPIS, Fedora, Xandros, or SuSE. Again, wonderful.

Take three. This time I additionally said that I prefer Gnome. Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo, Slackware.

Take four. This time I additionally said that I do not need to use kickstart. Debian, Ubuntu. Not exactly sure why *that* disqualified Gentoo....
