linux compatable amd mobo

I would like to install Openlinux server. Does anyone know of an AMD socket A mobo which has proven itself with good support & compatability in linux?
 
I can't think of any real problem boards, all I would really do is avoid anything with VIA chipsets, but I do that in general anyway.
 
Running AMD Athlon TB 1.2G + Iwill KK266A. The distro is Slackware 8.0. Never had a major problem with that. But the rig is pretty outdate as you can see.
