Linux / Arconis 5 question!

Well, I messed up my Linux by enabling my secondary ATA33 IDE. No problem (I have 2 ata33 and 2 ata66) it used to boot from hdc6 and now I changed LILO to specify hde6 (and swap in etc/fstab). I then added the changed conf with the usual lilo -v -v -v

At any rate, it worked. Then Arconis came up the next time I booted and when I selected LINUX, it trys to boot from hdc6 again.

SO...my question is...does ACRONIS keep its own map of where to boot? I am thinking it must as I fixed lilo and Acronis still wants to go to old hdc. Just wondering if I can edit something in ACRONIS?

TIA

<< Whats arconis? >>

Arconis is an OS selector and Partition manager...like Partition Magic...but very good.

Just do a google search for web site. It even supports XP.

yeah i know its not much help to you, but i have to second the notion of only using lilo or grub. lilo can boot from linux or xp. is there some other operating system on your machine that requires this other bootloader?
