Like i said on youtube:

Not a single dx12 benchmark = pretty bias "review" there Luke.. Try to take it out for a spin vs the 480 in Vulkan Doom and it will get eaten alive.

duplicate of ?

the title is "Nvidia GTX 1060 Review - RX 480 Killer?"

What ?

Your title for this thread is:

"[LinusTechTips] last video (1h ago): GTX 1060 destroys RX 480 in gaming performance"

Thats not at all their title, nor their conclusion 😕

Faster in DX11, but not in DX12. Also note that SLI will only work in DX12 if the Game enables it. There is no SLI for DX11. 480 wins Perf/$ quite significantly.

the title has "?" and during the video you can figure out the answer to the question

(looking at comparison bench img)

edit: i wrote "destroys" instead of "killer"

Less than 10% with next to no DX12 in the mix. Yeah, utter annihilation.

Given historical trends, I'd never suggest a 1060 over a 480 to anyone. By this time next year, we might be seeing that difference going the other direction.
