Linksys WUSB11 ver 2.6 disconnects

I have a linksys WUSB11 ver 2.6. It will randomly disconnect. I have to reboot and then I get a new connection ok but then it just disconnects after a variable amount of time. I can be surfing, checking email or nothing and it will happen.

I am running window 2k and have updated the drivers for the WUSB11 but it does not help. I am in the same room as the router which is a linksys BEFW11S4 4 port router with WAP.
