Hey everybody,

I currently have a version 2 WRT54G that has intermittent connectivity issues with it, and I'm thinking of purchasing a new router to fix the problems. Does anybody know how the WRT54GL is? Is it basically the same router as the version 2 WRT54G?

Any insight would be appreciated greatly.
 
WRT54GL is basically WTR54G.

If you flashed your version 2 with DD-WRT and it did not solved theproblem, it might be that your specific unit is "Gone".

A new WRT54L might solve you problem, but do not expect any other thing new beyond, since it is basically the same Router.
 
I believe it has less memory in it though - I am having the same problem but I just moved and dont think I am using the correct power supply. I chould be a heat issue also - Have you looked at those 2 options
