Yes but there's another $20 off $75 which expires 9/30, it's right here.

Disclaimer: I asked the mods about OM/OD coupons which are on the vendor's site and they replied:
The rules state:

You may post:

* Links to coupons on the issuing vendor's own site.

Your link seems to qualify. Nothing too complcated about that.

You could just use this as your router unless you need to/have to keep the current one. In that case, just use the uplink port on the Linksys to connect to your existing router. I don't think you need to change anything if you use DHCP.

Pretty Sweet Deal!!!!

Steelwells, Look at Rosman's Post.

$114 - $20=$94!

$15MIR

Final Price = $79!!!

Wonder if we can pricematch it at Circuit City $94 And do that $30MIR.

i dont mean to crap on these linksys wireless deals, but you should be very wary of their (linksys wireless) quality. just be sure to know you want to keep it before cutting out the upc.

johnto, this is the first time i'm actually hearing bad things about Linksys. So what is your reason for saying that Linksys is not a good choice?

Heck yeah!!! I have been waiting for a nice deal on one of these. I used to have a linksys router, and loved everything about it. Then, I got this lappy (check the sig!!!!!!!) and decided that I needed wireless when I moved into my new house.

As far as the signal strenth, I've been scamming off my neighbors linksys wireless router for a few weeks now, and while the 250' that I heard isn't true, it's probably only because of all the walls/electrical interference.

Thanks shamu!!

does anyone know office depots return policy, is this returnable even if it's opened? because im not sure if i can use this as an access point connected to my router at school, so if it doesnt i'd like to be able to return it.. thanks

for

$102 including the Coupon because i live in NYC so there's TAX

Its not Out of Stock, i found out that all you need to do is CLEARN THE INTERNET COOKIEs or History and reload the page again.

You can use any PCMCIA or NIC card as long as its 802.11B Compatiable

I think you can use any brand.

I was looking into wireless networking myself and I found this wireless PCI nic.
Looks like a good buy, anyone know?

$30 MIR too

edit: I just spoke to my wirless networking guru friend 😀 , and he said that linksys is kind of flaky at times but... heres my scenerio
I wanted to buy this WAP to give my dads comp downstairs the net without having the cat5 running on the floor (we dare not try to wire the walls, my dad is horrible with tools - its genetic ;] ) but that would mean i would have my dsl modem , and my exhisting router plus this WAP

he recommended I get something like this
http://www.usrobotics.com/products/networking/networking-product.asp?sku=USR8011
serves wired and wireless.. and I could sell my old router too
Any feedback would be appreciated
thanks

basically, personal experience. i _believe_ they may have updated their hardware since my last use, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. i used a linksys wireless access point / router with their pcmcia card... range was LESS THAN 15 FT. Now, this was in a little nook behind a stone wall inside someone's kitchen. Direct line of sight range must have been around 35 ft.

I use 3com equipment at home and have used airport, cisco and lucent equipment elsewhere. they are all far superior to linksys. (again, i think they updated their hardware since. but there are plenty of people who have range issues with linksys stuff)

I believe this is the new Version 2 Model which are pretty good. but i think the problem when people are having is the PCMCIA cards made by linksys. They got the lowest rating on by people. Just get a better PC card and you'll be fine. i'll let you guys know how mines come out when i get my router.
