Linksys Router Question

How can I determine which version of my Linksys BEFSR41 Router I have (i.e. ver 2/ ver 3, etc.)?

no, all it says on the front is BEFSR41... Is there any way by looking at the design of it??? I'm trying to update the firmare on it, so how can I tell what version it is?

it should say at the first configuration screen i had two of them a BEFSR41W and a BEFW11S4 and both of them said it on the page right after i logged in

either that or look at the bottom of the device... it lists a lot of the specifics under there.

Where did you find the version no.? I got the Linksys Wireless G router for someone, but could not for the life of me find the version no.. I looked on the box, the router itself, the documentation.. NOTHING.. So, I took a gamble that it wasn't version 2, but either 1.0 or 1.1 which have the same firware version available, whereas version 2 never had a firmware version below 2.0 or so, hence why I knew it wasn't version 2 since the current firmware version in the router was 1.x something.. Confused? LOL..
