Linksys NIC boot problem

After I installed a new Promise TX2 ATA100 card, my Linksys NIC all of the sudden decides to use network boot. I couldn't disable it no matter what short of taking it out!! I moved it around the slots to no avail. Anybody else had this problem before? I've had similar problems with the Intel Pro Management 100+ (or something like that) card as well on my old 440BX.

have you made sure the boot order isn't messed up in your computers BIOS? I've used linksys nic's before and never had this problem.

have you taken the promise tx2 card out to see if it still happens?
