Linksys networking question

Here's what I want to do, is it possible?

I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 router with 3 computers hooked up wirelessly to it. Everything works fine. I want to take a WAP11 access point and hook my playstation 2 network adapter to it. Will the WAP11 talk to my BEFW11S4 router wirelessly? Here is what we are looking at:

DSL Modem<---cat5e---->BEFW11S4<-----------wireless--------------->WAP1
<---cat5e---->Playstation2 network adapter

It should work the way you have it. As long as you tell the AP the SSID and encryption settings of your BEFW11S4, it should work just fine. You will have to setup the AP using a computer first before plugging the AP into your PS2.

If you can't get it to work, I'll look into it some more for you. Just send me a PM.

<= Works for Linksys

I couldn't get the WAP11 to see my router. I have been researching it, and all I can find is that I need another WAP11 hooked into my router for the WAP on my PS2 to talk to. The single WAP11 connects when I have it plugged directly into the router, so I know it is not faulty.

Everything I read tells me I need the Linksys WEP11, not the WAP11. It makes sense, but I was hoping to use the WAP11 because it was $14.99 after rebate from buy.com
