Amazon is $69.99, so this deal isn't really too hot with a price match. If you can get a $20 coupon to work, then it's hot. Good luck finding a 20/75 coupon that will work with technology.

the $20 off $75 coupon found at the site hinted at in the first post worked! PITA registration for that site though.

Are you kidding! The cable company normally supplies you with some cheap POS and charges you $100... or a $10/month fee. Don't give them more money than you have to... it only encourages them :roll:
 
Sure wish Gibson 486 would have tried the $20 off $75 before posting. I can't get it to work in checkout. Not for technology items.
 
I work for a cable company and would just like to say,

try to make sure this modem is version 3.
Version 1 and 2 have some problems....

Ahh. My cable company provides one for free, it's a Toshiba PCX1100U at the moment, dunno if it's a POS or not. Seems to work ok, don't know what I'm missing I guess if it's a POS.
