Hello all,

I just purchased Links 2003 for the PC. I have a Hercules Prophet 4500 Kyro II video card. I am running Windows 2000. I have the latest drivers from Hercules and the video is very wierd. At times it is difficult/impossible to play.

I believe I am running DirectX 9.0.

Is there something I am missing or something I can do?

I've got the same card and XP Pro, and while I haven't had any major problems (and haven't ever played Links 2003), I agree with what Schadenfroh said ... I'm not really sure what much you can do. The only thing I can think of is that you've got a setting checkmarked that the card doesn't fully support, but without the game in front of me, I'm not sure what it could be ... sorry. :(

Are you sure your using the latest drivers? I couldn't find the v2.00.20.0516 drivers on the Hercules site only the really old v16.0051 drivers.

You might have to use reference drivers instead (these will work ok with your Hercules) which can be found here:-

v2.00.20.0516 drivers released approx 28/05/03
