Linking Win2k & Xp-Pro

My system is Win2k. I am trying to logon to a new XP-Pro system on a lan sytem. I use Powerdesk which is like Windows Explorer, Network places. In both cases it shows the 2 computers, but I am not able to log on to the XP system as I am getting this error message" the network path has not been found" Where do I go to correct this. It is important to be able to have all computers see each other. I am using a Linksys hub. It has worked in the past with W98, and Win2k. Make sure both systems are in the same workgroup. add the same username and password to both computers Where do I go to give permission. Do I have to do it to both computers, Win2k & Xp-Pro?
