Who thinks linkin park should go back to there music style back in the hybrid theory + metora days? I personally think there new music sucks.

i am a Linkin Park fan: while I do miss their previous works, but i think the transformation is inevitable, no one will stay an angst-y teenager forever.

LP don't deserve all the hate they get IMO. They just became so popular it became cool to hate them. Same with Nickleback.

*cough*cough* I'm actually going to agree with OP here. Linkin Park was a great band, they introduced a great new style of music, the lead singer was classically trained, and Mike Shinoda was an awesome compliment to it all. In fact I'm pretty sure Hybrid Theory has been cited as the best-selling musical album *of all time*. (strangely enough)

Of course now they've diluted themselves into another shitty punk rock band. But their first two albums (three, including the re-animation) were fantastic.

Edit: Not the best-selling album of all time, but the best-selling album of the 21st century. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_Theory

We just got older. New music sounds like shit to us.

Agree. I like LP too, but they are way past their prime.
