the fact that they have a limited playlist. (40 songs?). i only listen to the radio when i'm in my car going to and from work (only because i haven't bought a CD deck yet) and i generally don't hear the same song more than twice in a week. some people moved cubes into the ones across the aisle from me and the girl had the local "Hip-Hop" station on all day (so i had to break out the headphones)

so in the time that i haven't been listening to my own music i have heard one of the new Outkast songs THREE times today....BLAH! i suppose....it's what "everyone" wants to hear.....

What pisses me off even more is when they talk over the damn song so all I hear is their bullsh!t chit chat about how they can't get fvcking dates. Then all these girls call in and hit on the guys.

Yea, get one that plays mp3... Saves ya lots of cds... Wish i didnt like my stock system so much, or id get one as well...
 
That's why it's called Top 40 😉

Our oldies station has about 2000 songs. We've got probably as many CDs because we used to be Classic Rock.
 
I've noticed the same thing with my local "pop" station. I kid you not; every time I turn on the radio, I'm garunteed to hear "With Arms Wide Open" before my trip is done. Needless to say, there are times I'm willing to run into a building just to make the music stop.:Q

Radio stations are suck. All the ones here just talk 🙁 Hardly ever play music anymore, the DJ's think they are hotshiznit and try to make all these jokes and stuff. Ug, it's horrible, thank god I got a cd player and a burner 🙂
 
the only station that i listen to is one of our local college stations and I only listen to it in the car.
Radio is suck
 
I HATE COMMERCIALS!!!

(Especially the moron companies who think that they HAVE to have a theme song. Okay folks, you have a car dealership, an appliance store, a jewelry store, whatever, YOU DO NOT NEED A FRICKIN' THEME SONG!!)

seriously! my good friend works at the local modern rock station and he starts climbing up the walls if "in the end" comes on. 🙂

yeah the radio is horrid man. and i'm too poor for a cd player in my car so when i commute to school i just bring my discman and headphones. i'm the only crazy bastid with headphones on while driving so people always look at me weird.
