Dear god, how things have changed. Also, that can't be my first post; that's from 2007, I joined in 2005.

Edit: I was 18 there, now I'm a homeowner pushing 30 and engaged. I do bet I know where I made that post, though; sitting at my desk while I was on the phone doing tech support at a local PC shop called Essex Computers.

how are you guys finding your first post? i was only able to find one from 2002, but i joined in 2001 and i know i posted a lot during that year. i used advanced search -> by username -> search posts -> sort by username:descending.

I knew my first post had the word "Ghost" in it. I have stumbled across it like this though:
Search a username that doesn't exist then don't change anything except the name when it brings you back to the search page. Search again.

I did that to find yours though I didn't even try the normal way. It's a long-standing forum glitch (ever since the switch from Fuse to vB).

I'm sure that some of the old posts are missing. The forums seem to have lost everything before 5/19/2000. So I don't think that I can find my first post.

As an aside, I did a search for the first post/thread on the forum (at least, the first that has been retained for posterity). And this is it:

Search for posts by you, exact name. Then organize them by time, ascending. The first one is your first post.

The forum only keeps the last 500 subscribed posts. You have to advanced search for it AFAIK. Thats how I did it.
 
I forget myself, was only last December I think.

I used to be on OCF for many years and just lurked here more or less.

After and incident trying to defend a guy from getting raped on the classies there, OCF and I kind of had a parting of ways.

I like it here better anyways to be honest after hanging out more.
