Yeah. It's kind of disturbing. I do like the quote though.

A man who can't even master the English language is no man to be taking advice from when it comes to criticizing one of the world's greatest works of fictional literature.

Fixed it for you...

10/10 for the wallpaper that's my new one for now.

That's pretty disturbing.

It does make a statement though. All the blood makes me think of the Crusades.

i wouldnt put that on my desktop, but kinda cool in a way it would get those religious freaks worked up and stuff 😀

I agree... the art aspect of it is way cool... but might get people worked up about it... def works at home... wouldn't try it at work... lol

Well, I'm a Christian and I don't find it offensive. The main theme of the Bible is God's redemption of mankind through the bloody, brutal, violent death of Christ on the cross. IMHO, the wallpaper pretty much sums that up.

in terms of artwork, if you did that yourself, it's pretty good...

in terms of "message" or "expression of individuality" it sucks... might as well be a swastika for all the PR you'll get here in Fundie-Land... 😛

(I'm a non-practising Catholic, but I found it funny)

It would be cooler if the cross was falling apart and had cracks in it, with ropes holding it together and money around it. Kind of like Metallica's "And Justice for All" cover.

 for technical skill; it looks great.

Meh on the idea though, religion is antiquated and I find it baffling that people on either side take it so seriously. Hopefully in 500 years religion will be looked at much the same way the geocentric solar system model is looked at today. It's unfortunate I was born 500 years before my time 🙁

It has been around since the history began, what makes you think it will somehow end up the same way many of those old ideas did? It has nothing to do with discovering some truth, or THE truth, but everything to do with faith.

FYI, I am not religous.

no, only ~10k years or so. What makes me think it is the recent upsurgence of people who realize how silly people are being. I think and hope we're on the brink of a paradigm shift for the better; a big leap forward in our advancement as a species.

To clarify what I really meant in my first post; many people think blaspheming (rebelling) is so cool and such, but it's every bit as bad. Both sides need to get past it.

My New Wallpaper

It's kinda bloody, eh?

😀

Actually I don't know if you made that trying to be funny, but instead you just displayed the truth that it contains inside. The bible or word of God as it is called is the written word. Jesus is the living word. The first sin of man was covered by the shedding of blood from animals. The sin of man is eternally forgiven now by the blood shed from Jesus. So when I see that, to me its Hallelujah. Thank God he came. 🙂
