You can overclock notebook CPU's in desktop motherboards.

You need to be more specific in your request.
You want to see which Pentium-M would be the best bang for buck in a laptop?

Best bang for the buck in what?
battery life?
stock speed performance?
overclocking potential?

You could always get a laptop that suppors 533mhz FSB, with a 1.6ghz 400mhz FSB dothan, and then pin mod the dothan to run at 533mhz FSB turing it in to a 2.13ghz. Most should do that with no problem, since my 1.6 runs at 2.4 on stock voltage.

With older 1.6/400s, its a semi-risk.

Newer ones you can probably play with 1.7's or even 1.8's and pin-mod them, depending the laptop model (larger ones generally have better cooling solutions).

~ 1.8ghz pentium-m will be similar to a 3.2 P4 in performance.
