Link button, what am I missing?

I know I must be doing something wrong. If I click on the http link button it opens up a box for the entry of an URL. It would be nice to be able to do a cut and paste into this box, but how?

And while I'm at it, everyone's talking about the forum polls. If I click on the icon for them, I get the message "Sorry, there are currently no polls." What's the scoop here? Where's the polls?

Am I losing my mind????
 
Cut and paste should be OK with the URL, I usually have it previously captured (^c) and then use ^v to paste it in there.

Besides the poll you're talking about (that says no current poll) some threads have polls within, if they do you'll notice the same type of icon in each post contained within the thread. Hope that isn't too confusing! 😕
 
OK, I got it. How embarrasing, I never even thought of using the keyboard to do my pasting. Maybe I was having an off day. Another one of many. Thanks.
