Why is it that some guys are 'bothered' about shopping for their girls lingerie?

I am personally going to have that pleasure soon when I go out around a few shops looking for lingerie for this girl😀. I am not going to feel embarressed. Sure I'll be the only guy in the store probably but I don't care, but I know that I'll be seeing some really sexy lingerie that I picked out on a girl.

My friend who shopped for his girlfriend a few months back was really embarressed about it. Of course the shop assistant 'knows' that your not going to be wearing it. So why are some guys embarressed about it? You'd think he'd be happy shopping for some lingerie for his girl right? Well I am going to be dam happy.

Also what experiences have you had and what lingerie do you like?

I like the knickers that are really tight fitting and cut just a bit above the ass at the bottom. They look great; like the one in that small download in the smallville thing that was here a while back. That girl (sure someone can name her, think its Kirsten something) was doing the flips and a dive in to the pool. I am definately after some of them. Now just got to get the right kind of style and cut for the front.

Well, since you're happy about buying it, why don't you buy it, have her put it on, take pictures, and then post 'em here for our review.

It can also be fun to accompany a girl when she goes lingerie shopping, so she can show it and ask you for your opinion on it 😉

The first 2 things are going to happen, the 3rd might if I bother to take my digital camera with me and the last thing isn't happening😉, she probably wouldn't like show herself on the whole of the AT cummunity in her lingerie. You post the same first though so she can see you.........j/k I'll post pics of me in m boxers if you want to see :Q 😛

I personally prefer that the top and bottom match somewhat. Other than that, I'm not picky. Other than granny pants, of course.
 
most of the time if you do go shop for lingerie, you'll notice that there tend to be as many guys as there are girls in there at most times. i don't worry about shopping for it b/c i know she'll be wearing it later.

I like it when she's in the high cut thong, or string. she recently bought some that tie and some that clip on the sides, talk about fun,
i like the ones that are like the briefs cut but then go into the thong, and the silk, sheer, tops

They might *think* you aren't in there for yourself but they would never assume you aren't. I think you would be supprised at the number of guys that buy lingerie for *themselves* to wear. Ask one of the clerks about it next time you go.

I'd rather see girls with lingerie on then it on the floor. To me it looks really sexy this way. We get naked later but lingerie on a girl looks ultra sexy to me. Girls with nice lingerie OWN J00

I'd pick this girl over any Kristin Kreuk😀 As much as I'd love to post pics I'd keep it private she'll kill me!

Just to tease her inside leg measurement is 32" so her legs to her hips must be about 37" and she can kick 6" standing still. And she'll be learning how to do the splits.

Shes 5"7 and 115lbs.

Slim and great figure; a 2nd year PhD student to boot.

She use to weigh more when she was in Uni. She eats a lot of food and she is a vegetarian, so her diet must be good as shes not getting any meat or fish. She eats 3 eggs in the morning with toast. Has good meals throughout the day and does some exercise. Will do more when I move in to London. Maybe shes 5"6 but shes 8.5 stones (my calculations 8.5x6.1x2.2 = 115lbs) I don't like really thin girls also and shes not really thin.

Don't know why she weighs so little though? Only a figure and she look great.
 
I bought mine a stretchy black lacy semi see through type deal. It's cut across the shoulders, long sleeve, and comes down just below the rear. Very chic and sexy. 😀
 
Don't forget to try them on just to visualize and get a feel for the lingerie your getting for your girl....oh yes and please take pics...

definetly spend time with a salesperson at the store; they will have some good recommendations concerning material types, styles, color, ect.. The "fun" stuff is okay, but make certain you get her some functional clothing also. My wife lets me know what she prefers by going through the VS catalog and circling stuff, then letting me by it for her. So perhaps give your gf a catalog from a similiar/same store and see if she'll give you any feedback on what she likes/dislikes, or may want to experiment with.

carefull though, cuz you may be opening Pandora's box, and she'll expect to do all her shopping at VS; nice stuff but expensive. Then again, lots of brownie points both in seeing her in some of those clothes, and by buying her some of those clothes.

Yeah good ideas, thanks.

This will be my choice of lingerie for her to wear on occasion. It probably wouldn't be so 'functional' but hey its not as if she'll be walking around it all day. Or maybe as lots of women now a days love to dress in risque and outrageously sexy lingerie underneath whatever they are wearing just to feel 'sexy'.

She won't expect me to shop at VS all the time. Shes not like that but I wouldn't mind much as I'll be seeing it on her so its an 'investment'😀

Colour I'm thinking black, white or blue or a very white creamy pastal colour but won't decide until I see the actual lingerie........
