Linear Algebra Question (another)

According to this problem I had, for a 4x6 matrix, the minimum rank is 0 and the max nullity is 6. Is this possible? I can't imagine an actual example of this. My intuition is that the min. rank is 1 and the max nullity is 5.

If you have a matrix of zeros, its rank is also 0.

4 rows and 6 columns: Like hypnotik said: a matrix of all zeros has rank 0 due to all 4 rows being 0 and has nullity 6 due to all columns being zero.

The zero matrix will be the only matrix that satisfies this condition. If you have one nonzero entry the rank becomes 1 and nullity becomes 5.

Yeah, I know. At the time I posted, the zero matrix hadn't occurred to me.
