Stick with XP or Try a Real Linux ??

I wouldn't exactly call Lindows real Linux. And I won't recommend it, so I think you should search the forums for Linux and see what other distros you might like (*cough*mandrake*cough*). This question is probably asked and answered every other day.

Lindows is a real linux seeings as it uses the Linux Kernel. However what your probly saying is that useing Lindows is so differ it's like useing Windows then a traditonal Linux destro. Lindows is a good way to start off to get into Linux ... However if you want to have things done more your way and learn more about Linux then Lindows is not for you. Check out http://www.osnews.com/ for OSnews and even more help in finding stuff about Lindows, Linux Destros, and other OS stuff. If I was you I'll try Mandrake 9.1 or 9.2, SuSE is great too. I personely do not like Red Hat cause of the extream bloat. Slackware 9.1 is another good Linux Destro but, lol, you never messed with Linux before it might not be pleaseing to mess with Slackware.

Anyways just my opinion let's not flame them.

Lindows might be good for those who want..um..'ease of installation and use'.

I havent used it, but if its based on Debian, it atleast has a solid base. Not to mention using apt-get instead of click-n-ru(i)n.
