I ended up modifying the recipe i posted in the OP. I took about 2.3L of Svedka vodka and 25 lemons. Hope it turns out OK..... we'll see.

Hello everyone, my limoncello has been sitting in the jar for about two months exactly. Tonight, I am mixing it with the simple syrup and letting it sit in the freezer for about a week.

It sure is a loooooong time of waiting.

Get this, my girlfriend was making orangecello simultaneous with the limoncello. The jar broke and spilled all over the floor a couple of weeks ago. At least I didn't pay for the oranges and vodka. Big yank.

Yep...the glass's structure was really weak and my girlfriends hand went THROUGH it, putting glass shards inside of the vodka+orange mixture. SUCK.

The guy who I get my Home made Limoncello from use grain alcohol he gets from the pharmacy. That stuff will make you cross eyed for days.
