Limiting the size of Network Shares

I'm trying to set up three shares, all on the same drive. Two of the shares need to be limited to 10gb, while the third needs to be limited to 100gb. The only way I can see doing this is through Disk Quotas, but I don't believe they offer finite enough control over the quotas. Is there any other way to limit the total size of a share/folder?

If you don't want to use disk quotas you could just make 3 partitions on the drive each the required size and share those i guess.

If quotas is not enough, what are you trying to do? Disk quotas offers lots of options (user based, folder based, etc). If you need something else, you may need to be more specific in your needs.

I'm trying to add in a Group quota, but Win2k3 is only allowing individual users. I didn't see an option up front to set quotas by folder, but maybe it's a bit further down. Partitioning the drive further isn't an option, but I'll look at disk quotas a but further now.

Yeah, I can't do groups, even from the command line. The only sure-fire way to go about it then is to create a user for each share, and have the clients configured to connect to that share using that user... but it'll prompt them for a password every time they log in. Doh!

Quotas are done on a per user and per volume basis.

You can't use them for groups.
You also can't have different quotas for three different shares that all reside on the same volume.
