limiting bandwidth to one computer

is there a way to limit bandwidth to one computer that is on the network. I want to limit this one computer because they download so much stuff...so I atleast want to lower her speeds down while others can still access wireless at normal speeds.

I currently have a Moto wr850G with ddr-wt. (I would not mind getting that Asus router though...so do not be afraid to tell me that I HAVE to get it)

Hmm.. If you have a Router with DD-WRT why would you expect that another one with the same firmware would do better Qos?

The only other solution (beside civilized agreement with e culprit to "reduce the abuse", is to install on the "Bad" computer this http://www.netlimiter.com

because it is another toy besides, the wireless on the moto kind of sucks. Only other thing I can think of is buying a cheap ass b only wireless router (or buy myself an a/b/g router) and configure one primariliy for her and limit her to having a really low transfer rate. IS this even possible?

You must be missing something if you can't limit someones bandwidth on a host-specific basis - DDWRT can do that.

You could just limit her bandwidth by her LAN IP, or in the case of a DHCP setup(although changes aren't often) it'd be smarter to do via MAC address.

basically, i put her on "bulk" (not altenator sized, though)?

The Premium/Standard/Express etc classes aren't really rate limiting, they're just traffic prioritizing. It's not going to help much unless you've got a connection shared by a lot of people - take a look at the script link I posted, it should help you rate limit the person in question(meaning you can limit them to a certain bandwidth).
